Lakeway — RV Captain’s Chair Upholstery Replacement

RV upholstery repair and reupholstery for captain’s chairs, sofas, dinettes, recliners and other suitable interior furniture. Full reupholstery is usually completed in the workshop, while some smaller qualifying repairs may be possible on-site.

We assess the furniture, its upholstery and how it is mounted before recommending repair, cushion work or full reupholstery.
Repair of suitable worn or split areas, cushion rebuilding and full reupholstery when the chair is an appropriate candidate.
Upholstery repair, cushion work and full recovering depending on the construction and condition of the furniture.
Cushions, covers, foam and upholstery replacement for suitable dinette furniture.
Upholstery work plus qualifying diagnosis and repair of recliner mechanisms and electrical components.
The right scope depends on how much of the covering has failed, the condition of the surrounding material and whether the furniture structure is worth keeping.
A smaller repair may be appropriate when damage is limited to one area, a seam has opened, one panel needs attention and the surrounding material remains serviceable.
Full reupholstery may be the better scope when several panels are worn or split, the covering is peeling extensively, or you want a different suitable material or color while retaining the furniture structure.
RV furniture is often secured to the floor, wall or surrounding cabinetry, and access can be tighter than with ordinary household furniture.
For full reupholstery, the practical approach is often to remove the piece and complete the stripping, sewing and rebuilding in the workshop.
Depending on the project, removal and reinstallation can be included in the scope, or you can remove the furniture and bring it to the workshop by appointment. Send photos of the complete piece and how it is mounted so we can recommend the appropriate route.

The worn captain’s chair upholstery was replaced while retaining the existing chair structure.
The worn covering was removed and the captain’s chair was reupholstered for continued use.
The matching RV recliner furniture was restored with new upholstery.
The existing RV sofa received full reupholstery rather than replacement of the complete furniture assembly.
RV interiors can be exposed to more heat, direct sunlight, temperature changes and vibration than typical household furniture. Those conditions matter when choosing replacement upholstery.
We can provide leather, vinyl and fabric samples and help compare options based on expected use, sunlight, maintenance and the construction of the furniture.
No single material is automatically the best choice for every RV. The decision depends on the furniture, expected use, maintenance preferences and the specific upholstery product.
Natural appearance and feel, with different finishes available depending on expected use and maintenance.
Many upholstery-grade vinyls are designed for frequent use and easier cleaning; the specific product still needs to suit the project.
Available in a wide range of textures and patterns, with performance depending on the particular upholstery fabric selected.
Send photos of the entire furniture piece, the worn or damaged areas, and a wider view showing how the piece is mounted inside the RV. Include your ZIP code.
We review the furniture and determine whether the project appears suitable for an on-site repair, workshop reupholstery or customer drop-off. When the photos provide enough information, we send a written estimate.
Smaller repairs may be completed on-site. Full reupholstery is typically completed in the workshop after the furniture is removed.
You inspect the completed work with us before the furniture is reinstalled, picked up or returned to you.
L3Xpro is based in Steiner Ranch, Austin, with a workshop for upholstery projects that require stripping, sewing and rebuilding.
For suitable RV furniture, customer drop-off is available by appointment. If you are comfortable removing and reinstalling the furniture, that work can remain outside our written scope.
We are based in Steiner Ranch and work with RV and motorhome owners throughout Austin and surrounding communities. Smaller qualifying repairs may be completed on-site, while most full reupholstery projects are completed in the workshop.

“My leather sofa is over 25 years old, and the seat cushions were in terrible condition. The leather had deep cracks, heavy discoloration, and the whole surface looked completely worn and dried out. I honestly thought it was beyond repair. But Eugene from L3Xpro did an absolutely amazing job. He restored the entire sofa, repaired the cracked leather, and matched the original color perfectly. The finish looks smooth, rich, and even — you would never believe how bad it looked before. The transformation is unbelievable. My old 25-year-old sofa now looks modern, clean, and refreshed again. The quality of the work, attention to detail, and the color restoration are outstanding. If you're in Austin and need professional leather repair, leather color restoration, or crack”
